Getting here by Light Rail

The METRO Blue Line offers fast, quiet light-rail service between downtown Minneapolis and Mall of America. Dozens of bus routes connect with the train at the Lake St/Midtown station, making the Hook and Ladder very accessible thru Metro Transit.

Getting here by car

You’ll probably use your smart phone for directions, but this is what to expect when you get here. We have a small lot to the North of the venue available for artist & guest parking which fills up quickly. We also encourage street parking on Minnehaha Ave and to the West on Snelling Ave., where a casual walk down the street or through the alley will deliver you to The Hook. 

Parking

The theater has a small number of designated parking spots along the north side of the building for use. There is free parking along Snelling Ave and on Minnehaha Ave. There are many nearby parking lots which are accommodating local businesses like The Hook by allowing evening event parking, such as the large (3rd precinct) lot directly behind(West) The Hook.

Entrance

The Hook and Ladder has a number of entrances in use, depending on the season/show. The glass-door entrance to the building on the north side is used in fall/winter and for late-night events, and the large tented entrance in the south lot is used during the UTC season (May-Sept).
