Don’t miss this one of a kind show at the Hook and Ladder Mission Room! It will surely fill up. With Orange Goodness the awe inspiring talent that mixes Groove Infused Rock with Hip Hop influences! Paired with The Nunnery and Sarah Elstran’s Beautiful voice creating a lush soundscape!
The Orange Goodness are an exciting groove-infused alt/indie rock band from Minneapolis. Mike Michel (vocals/guitars) Ian Allison (bass) & Reese Kling (drums) have been in the psyche of music enthusiasts for their sidemen work with MN greats Dessa, Haley, Jeremy Messersmith, Desdamona, and Terrell X, but their first love is writing and performing groove-infused alt/indie rock songs. Drawing inspiration from artists like Gorillaz, Beck, Cake, & Vulfpeck, The Orange Goodness are sponges for global rhythms and organic analog sounds that move and inspire. The Orange Goodness are trying to help the planet one song and one gig at a time!

The Nunnery begins with one voice, layered upon itself becoming a lush soundscape.
Sarah Elstran is an independent musician that bridges the gap between bright-eyed pop composition and hands-on atmospheric live layering of voice. Her vocal loops give us the kind of detail and wide multi-octave range that we might come to expect from a marquee pop star, while her production decisions continually keep us guessing as to what rabbit holes her tracks might fall into next.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a Minnesota State Arts Board Operating Support grant, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
