Dr. Ryan Anthony Picone, guitarist, composer, and Director of the Twin Cities Djangofest, brings his deep love of the Hot Club tradition to the stage in a special evening celebrating the music of Django Reinhardt with his friends from Hot Club Mania.
On April 3, 2026, the Ryan Picone Quartet joins forces with Hot Club Mania at The Hook and Ladder Theater for a vibrant night dedicated to the music of Django Reinhardt—the pioneering guitarist whose sound created the language of Hot Club Jazz and continues to inspire generations of musicians. Drawing from Reinhardt’s fiery swing, lyrical ballads, and timeless compositions, the two ensembles blend authenticity with fresh improvisational energy, honoring the tradition while bringing their own voice to the music.
