—
Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Brent Fuqua throws a big birthday bash, celebrating the release of his new single “Mississippi Rollin'” and the digital release of his last album Songwriter, which was originally released 15 years ago. Although these days known mostly as a mandolin player supporting the Midwest’s top bluegrass and Americana bands, Brent got his start as a songwriter and guitarist in Kansas City, sharing the stage with some of the hottest country and rock bands. Returning to his songwriting roots, he is working on a new album with Steve Kaul at Wild Sound Studio. The show will feature many of the folk and bluegrass artists he’s been recording and performing with, including Mother Banjo Band, Steam Machine and the all-star Lake Monsters Bluegrass Band.
