EVENT DESCRIPTION
Mark Joseph & American Soul w/ The Northside Horns ‘Single Release & Graceland Album’
——
Mark Joseph was Inspired and forever changed by witnessing the virtuosity of “The King of Blues” (BB King). Shortly after he was gifted his first guitar in 1991, at the ripe age of 10. The subsequent decades, two thousand plus live shows, five full-length albums and multiple EP’s, have permanently written Mark Joseph into the sonic history he was inspired by so many years ago. Yet the blues was the common thread throughout for this Minnesota born singer, songwriter, and guitarist.
Smokin’ Joe Scarpellino is a songwriter based in the Twin Cities, present throughout the Minneapolis jam band scene. He’s known for collaborating with a wide array of musicians and bringing them together for various music projects and being the man behind the Galactic Get-Down music festival in southern Minnesota. He also produces his own “Smokin’ Joe Show” regularly on Facebook live.
