Growing up in rural Wisconsin during the week and Minneapolis on the weekend, allowed Sarah the perspective that people lived life very differently from one another. This city mouse, country mouse existence provided a unique lens for commentary and it brought out the natural storyteller in Sarah. A ten-year stint as a blackjack dealer gave Sarah a captive audience to hone her comedy chops. One day she looked at the smoke-filled walls and noisy slot machines and said goodbye. She turned in her apron and decided to bet on herself and become a comedian. At the same time, she decided to pursue this dream she also decided to pursue her dream of being a lesbian. Go for broke, as they say. Sarah is also an advocate for LGBTQ rights, produces many shows to further queer content and to bring inclusion to the media.
