Mark is selling and giving away new and used CDs from his store, his collection, the collection of Tony Glover, and other noteworthy sources. THIS IS NOT JUNK! Pop artists include names such as Robert Wyatt, Leonard Cohen, Guided By Voices, Lucinda Williams, Yo La Tengo, and others. Vintage blues, soul and western on labels like Yazoo, Ace, Kent, Rounder, Folkways and Arhoolie. Jazz artists like Miles Davis, Billie Holiday and Thelonious Monk, and labels like Blue Note, Verve, Atavistic and more are represented. Expect avant garde titles by Richard Youngs, the Residents, and other esoteric one-offs. VIntage garage and psychedelia. Modern shoe gaze and various indie veins and capillaries. Local titles. This ain’t about making money, folks. This is mostly an excuse to get some music back out into the community at bargain prices and gather together some old faces. And to say thanks for 32 great years.
