Mrs. Pinky and The Great Fox is a Minneapolis based band hoping to connect with their audience through their soulful jazz, R&B, and alternative sound. Seaberg (Black Velvet Punks) is a hip-hop, jazz punk, and neo-soul band fronted by black genderqueer guitarist, Taylor Seaberg often joined by drummer/vocalist, Traiveon Dunlap (of Traiveon and Candi) and bassist/vocalist, Roderick Glasper (of Blvck Madonna).
An easily confused and very shy individual, Charlie Parr has been traveling around singing his songs ever since leaving Austin Minnesota in the 1980's in search of Spider John Koerner, whom he found about 100 miles north at the Viking Bar one Sunday night. The experience changed his life, made him more or less unemployable, and brings us to now: 13 recordings, 250 shows a year or more, 200,000 miles on a well broke in Kia, and a nasty fear of heights. Resonator fueled folk songs from Duluth Minnesota.
The Mae Simpson band is pure energy and soul. The singer-songwriter Mae who hails from South Carolina, has a huge voice and stage presence. She has brought together a collective of seven musicians who each bring a unique flavor to this powerhouse group. Formed in the fall of 2017, Mae Simpson Band have built a broad collection of original music that refuses to fall neatly into a single genre. Blistering funk and dance music mixed with soul, blues, country, calypso, jazz, rock, and even a little hip hop — bringing the crowd to their feet every time.

The multi-instrumentalist and producer spent his early years in high school touring the country, opening for national acts such as PVRIS, Why Don't We, The Plain White T's, Echosmith, and more. Achieving a massive amount of traction after winning Minnesota's Go 96.3's Battle of the Bands, DeWolfe opened for Run the Jewels and Bishop Briggs while debuting "Karma", which now has over 500,000 streams. The new single “Did it All” and ”King of Nothing" showcase energetic horns and DeWolfe's capabilities as a songwriter and producer - they are the first of many singles set to release throughout 2019.
Davina & The Vagabonds - HookStream
- “Davina Sowers creates her own Americana mishmash — a little Amy Winehouse-worthy neo-soul there, a little Great American Songbook-influenced songcraft there.”
