Our Mission

The Firehouse Performing Arts Center is a community performance space that welcomes artists of all genres, all levels of experience and provides a warm, intimate environment for showcasing their talent. We provide a stage where artists of all classes, culture and origin can begin, grow and mature as artists. We bring new voices and perspectives to the stage to enhance the diversity of our community. FPAC is committed to maintaining an accessible and inclusive space for all participants, both artists and audience, without regard to race, gender orientation, age or disabilities.

Firehouse Performing Arts Center is home to The Hook & Ladder Theater, the Zorongo Flamenco Dance Theater & School and Jawaahir Dance Company. FPAC also houses several small businesses in its upstairs offices and offers rental space for arts based classes and instruction.

FPAC Executive Director Chris Mozena has been involved in nearly every facet of the music and entertainment industries, from independent record promoter and national radio programming conference coordinator, to record label owner, club GM and arts curator.  Chris has also been a talent booking representative for a number of events, venues and festivals in the upper Midwest.  He continues to dedicate himself to developing, educating and promoting the emerging artists in our community.
