Together we will safely enjoy live music this summer!

A steadfast and exhilarating live performance of the Beatles’ beloved, rarely-performed studio years recordings, served up by a veteran cast of area songwriters, performers, gadabouts and multi-instrumentalists. The Shabby Road Orchestra is an ad-hoc 13-piece Minneapolis rock collective featuring Adam Levy, John Eller, John Fields, Ken Chastain, Joe Carey, Brandon Sampson, Jacqueline Ultan and others. Since 2017, the Shabbies have staged intermittent, sprawling and over-achieving live recreations of the Beatles final albums, note-for-note complete with sound effects, harmonies and authentic instruments.

The show is a celebration of the music, first to last, with no wigs, costumes or impersonations but noteworthy bouts of stage banter and plenty of good vibes. The band will play a variety of material from Sgt. Pepper’s, Abbey Road, Magical Mystery Tour, the White Album and Let it Be.

The 12-piece Shabby Road Orchestra includes some of Minnesota’s best musicians:

Adam Levy: guitars, vocals
John Eller: guitars, vocals
Joe Carey: guitars, vocals
Brandon Sampson: guitars, vocals
John Fields: bass
Ken Chastain: drums, vocals
Tom Scott: keys, SFX, percussion, vocals
Paul Scott: piano
Jacqueline Ultan: cello
Dave Foley: horns, woodwinds
Andy Nelson: woodwinds
