The KBEM Roots Concert Series is presented by Phil Nusbaum, host of The Bluegrass Review on Jazz88.
This installment of the KBEM Roots Concert Series welcomes one of the hardest working bluegrass outfits in the business, Minnesota natives, Monroe Crossing. Named after the, “Father of Bluegrass”, Bill Monroe, Monroe Crossing dazzles audiences with an electrifying blend of classic bluegrass, bluegrass gospel, and heartfelt originals. Their airtight harmonies, razor sharp arrangements, and on-stage rapport make them audience favorites across the United States, Canada, and Europe.–Each show has a 7pm front set by Sherry Minnick & Phil Nusbaum in the 20-minute range. Then an intermission and the featured performer plays till 9 or so.
