Mid-West Music Fest (MWMF) and The Hook & Ladder Theater are very proud to present a special Festival pre-party featuring an eclectic showcase of outstanding local artists.
General B & The Wiz is made up of a few really nice jazz boys who are into some really weird, yet wholesome, stuff. The band connects with you, specifically by writing songs from the heart and putting on high-energy performances that will melt your face and tickle your senses from the inside out. As collaborative songwriters, General B & The Wiz delivers high-energy music that will keep you laughing, dancing, and rocking to your heart’s content until you eventually die someday.
Sleeping Jesus started as the solo project of Winona based songwriter Nick Elstad. The band now features a full lineup, including Tyler Steinley, Andy Bauer, Seamus St. Claire, and Dante De Grazia. They recently played SXSW in Austin, TX and have a sound often described as dreamy. They craft pop tunes that have been featured on MPR and other stations across the country.
Karate Chop, Silence is a funky alt-rock quartet with strong pop influences and an affinity for grooves. Their fists of fury play instruments. Their Sensei is modern radio. They rock. They funk. They pop. And, they know absolutely nothing about karate.
Jaw Knee Vee rocks with his brand of deep fried Lo-Fi rawkabilly punk blues surf trash boogie woogie stomp!!!!!
