Heavy Air II is curated by: Mason Butler (KFAI AM Drive), Adam Pearson (KFAI Ghost Trees), Bill Hansen (KFAI Roar of the Underground), and Nora Doherty (KFAI Leadership)

Additional support and promotion from Matt Amundsen (Hook, KFAI Uneasy Listening) Morgan Schoonover (KFAI Sounds Unexpected), Sean Lipscomb (KFAI Glorth Radio), and Dameun Strange (KFAI Galactic Fantastic).

The first installment, Heavy Air, was held at the Eagles Club in January 2019. Widely well-received and well-attended, the event celebrates heavy (psych, drone, stoner metal, sludge), ambient (electro-acoustic, electronic, psych-folk), and experimental sound (improvisational, free-form, psych) across three stages.
