The Soul of the Southside ignites the spirit of Juneteenth and Black Liberation by centering the richness of Black culture. Through a powerful fusion of history, art, music, food, and education, our festival is a transformative platform that unites, empowers, and inspires. We honor the brilliance of Black creatives, businesses, and community organizations, showcasing the profound contributions of Black Americans. By using creativity as a force for liberation, we build connections, foster learning, and leave a legacy of cultural pride and unity for generations to come.

Free rides to and from the festival on Metro Transit
