Accessible venue located in the heart of Downtown Longfellow - Chris Mozena

The Hook & Ladder Theater is located in an updated, repurposed historic Firehouse that was operated as Minneapolis Hook and Ladder #21 until 1958…hence our name.  The Hook & Ladder has (5) unisex, handicap accessible restrooms available to guests during performances and an estimated capacity of (250) for general admission performances. The Hook & Ladder has not one, but two performance stages available for rent and designed to offer guests a unique, non-stop entertainment experience.

The Hook & Ladder Theater is operated by the non-profit Firehouse Performing Arts Center (FPAC) so there are always plenty of volunteer opportunities.  The Hook & Ladder may well be the first/only solar-powered venue in the Twin Cities, with a full array of panels on its roof that power the performance space.  The Hook & Ladder features the most comprehensive collection of canned Minnesota Craft beverages anywhere in the state and features a variety of the very best twin cities’ food trucks on-site during select performances.
