A rare Twin Cities live recording triple-threat, featuring: Ft. Wayne, IN based Alive! Recording Artists Left Lane Cruiser, Kansas City’s Dustin Arbuckle and The Damnations and local favorites The Fret Rattles, with all acts recording live records in one special evening at The Hook & Ladder Theater in south Minneapolis!
Indiana’s trash-blues outfit Left Lane Crusier is back supporting their most recent (2017) album of high-energy R&B. “Claw Machine Wizard” is a return to the band’s two man format, headed by slide guitar extraordinaire Freddy J IV, and backed by drumming machine Pete Dio. Left Lane Cruiser has been making records for over a decade, and along with their music being featured in many hit television series such as Banshee, Breaking Bad, and Nashville, they have been receiving critical acclaim across the globe.
Dustin Arbuckle & The Damnations
As a founding member of the critically-acclaimed progressive roots outfit Moreland and Arbuckle, vocalist/harmonica player Dustin Arbuckle has been working hard on the road for over a decade.  After 15 years, 7 albums, and hundreds of shows across 23 countries, Moreland & Arbuckle have amicably gone their separate ways.

As one door closes, another opens, and Arbuckle is now ready to explore a wide range of music with his new project, Dustin Arbuckle & The Damnations.  A musician of vast appetites, he’s long held an appreciation for traditional American music in the vein of Charley Patton as well as the cross-pollinated sounds of The Band or Stax-style soul.

Minneapolis-based Fret Rattles already have several fine rock records under their belt but, like the rest of this bill, are best enjoyed live. They are also the curators and visionaries behind this triple-threat live recording event. The band finds a more raw, stripped down approach to the music these days, happily wearing their influences on their sleeves.
