Minneapolis, Americana rockers, LowRay release their kick-ass album “Friends And The Fakers” with fellow scenesters, Porcupine, Little Man, and Ryan and Pony!
LowRay
LowRay are another in the long line of Trans-Atlantic musical partnerships. For his part in the duo singer and guitarist Dan Fowlds (Bump, Pill Hill) looked east to David Bowie, Black Sabbath and The Rolling Stones alongside his Americana influences while growing up. A musical career started in Northeast Minneapolis in the 1980s woodshedding in his parent’s basement later moved on to contest wins, touring and recording over the next 30 years. James Irving (22-20s) was very much looking back the other way from his English homeland. Son of a Jazz pianist, he was a big band drummer in his youth before eventually landing a gig with 22-20s – a deep south influenced 4 piece renowned for their fearsome, blues soaked live performances.
Porcupine
Rock trio Porcupine organically forges its singular brand of Rock’n’Roll reminiscent of the late-90s alternative without compromise. Un-yielded by what’s trendy, Casey Virock (guitars/vocals) with Greg Norton (bass) and Ian Prince (drums) derive some of their inspiration from 70’s classic rock and 60’s British psychedelica, resulting in a Swervedriver meets Queens of The Stone Age type sound.Little Man
Rock band Little Man, who’s fronted by Chris Perricelli, continues to be a strong live act and an amazingly diverse recording artist of the Twin Cities writing music with strong spiritual themes. Classic Rock, Garage Rock, Psychedelic Rock; Think George Harrison meets Bowie and Bolan meets Jack White.

Ryan and Pony
Ryan and Pony is a brand-new project, although these two indie-rockers have been kickin’ around the Minneapolis music scene for years. Whether it be fronting The Melismatics or playing with the likes of Soul Asylum, Mark Mallman, Phil Solem, The Rembrandts, Grant Hart, or Benjamin Cartel they have always brought an energy and passion to the stage and studio that is infectious. Now they bring their influences of post-punk, power pop, EDM, and good old-fashioned rock and roll together along with guest performances from friends they’ve made over the years. A new full-length album is in the works for release on Pravda Records and their debut single “Low” was recently released.
